Technology is not just our friend, but our partner
There are a multitude of music and piano based apps for the iPad, many of which are used everyday in Prestissimo Piano Studio.  Today's students are technology savvy like none before them, and they identify with app-based learning and the reinforcement it provides.  Rhythm Cups are also a widely used resource to teach and reinforce rhythm concepts in lessons.

The studio also utilizes a variety of subscription-based apps that, through individual student log-in, allow for specific feedback from your instructor.
 Lessons
Lessons are offered on a yearly basis consisting of the school year term and summer term.
 Special Programs
There are opportunities presented within a semester for the entire studio to meet for a time of fun, comraderie, and learning!  Each 'Master Class' event is unique.
  Semester Recitals
The spring and fall semesters offer recital opportunities. Always striving to keep things exciting for the students, I rotate through a variety of recital formats.  These include the traditional solo piano recital in which each student plays a selection of repertoire from the recent semester; duo and trio recitals in which students play four and six hand pieces together; and collaborative piano in which the young pianist gets real experience learning one of their most exciting roles, accompanying a soloist!  Rhythm Cups are utilized for group performances as well.

Adjudication & Recognition Opportunities

Throughout the school year, a variety of opportunities will be offered for students to play before other piano professionals.  These provide feedback for the students as well as a unique performance opportunity and the ability to receive recognition in the world of piano.  Opportunities include, but are not limited those associated with;  NMTA, GMMTA, The Guild and various area keyboard festivals.
